'SAMMY, WITHOUT STRINGS '
A 1920s-period short following a sentient minstrel puppet who wishes to be free of his controlling strings. The film won best narrative student short at Austin Film Festival and Best Production Design at National Film Festival for Talented Youth.
The Puppets - Sammy & Woolworth
A total of four puppets had to be designed and fabricated. They were a combination of marionette, animatronic, and rod-controlled.
